As a Senior Project Manager at Infineon, you will steer various projects within our Power & Sensor System (PSS) Division and accompany the whole IC development lifecycle. This position is part of Infineon’s Project Management Career Path. In your new role you will:

  • Manage projects and/ or sub projects with higher complexity, risk, impact and reach
  • Initiate, plan, lead and coordinate IC development projects (Hardware) in the field of power management and ASIC’s including team setup, resource planning, timeline, work packages, budget planning, controlling of internal R&D resources and external design partners, and documentation
  • Coordinate project activities across different sites (e.g. Munich, Duisburg, Singapore & Villach), handle external and internal silicon foundries, select internal and external assembly and test-houses
  • Continuously focus on project quality, assess progress and ensure that goals are met even in the face of challenges (e.g. time-to-market, cost, scope, quality targets)
  • Manage and control the entire project life-cycle and ensure hand-over to sustaining function
  • Establish trusted relationships and a network with a broad base of internal and external stakeholders as well as worldwide customers and actively manage their interests

You accept responsibility for common goals and put the team’s results above your own interests. In addition, you remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations and take decisions despite uncertain circumstances. Furthermore, you are personally committed to the customer’s concerns and award them a high priority.

Beyond, you are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or related studies combined with a good technical understanding , ideally in the development of mixed signal IC’s
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional work experience in the field of semiconductor products and there 4 years of leading projects and project teams
  • In-depth project management knowledge for analog mixed signal IC product developments in terms of project initiation, planning and closing including reporting and documentation
  • The ability to understand and structure complex project situations; moderate and manage critical project situations; consolidate and present those to senior management level; perform in front of customers also in challenging situations
  • The willingness to take responsibility within Infineon and to travel on a regular basis and/or as the need arises within Europe, to Asia and the United States
  • Advanced technical leadership skills , excellent communication skills and intercultural competencies , excellent understanding of the semiconductor ‚environment‘
  • Ideally an official project management certification (e.g. IPMA)
  • Fluent English skills, German skills are helpful
