1. SCOPE AND DEFINITIONS
1.1 These Terms of Use govern the use of the platform for job search, career support and coaching (collectively the "Service") operated by Senior Connect GmbH ("Senior Connect", "we") by consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) (hereinafter "User"/"you").
1.2 For business customers (B2B), only Senior Connect's General Terms and Conditions apply. These Terms replace any previous terms for applicants.
1.3 Conflicting terms and conditions of the User shall not apply.
2. SUBJECT MATTER AND SERVICE DESCRIPTION
2.1 The Service supports users in career transition by means of AI-powered job matching, optimisation of application documents, interview training, as well as career mentoring and coaching.
2.2 Service Packages
The Service is offered in three packages. Details on included features, pricing and billing periods are set out in Section 5 and Annex B.

2.3 No employment placement owed. We do not owe any hiring or placement success. Recommendations and matches are suggestions based on the data you provide and our market analysis.
3. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT
3.1 An account is required for use. Registration is done via our website.
3.2 You provide truthful information, keep access data confidential and inform us immediately in case of suspected misuse.
3.3 You must be at least 18 years old.
3.4 As part of the Service, we inform you by e-mail about suitable job offers and relevant status updates. Legal basis: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can deactivate job alerts at any time via email. We do not send advertising for third-party offers without your prior consent.
4. CONTRACT CONCLUSION VIA ONLINE CHECKOUT (BUTTON SOLUTION)
4.1 Package presentations on our website are non-binding offers. By clicking the final order button ("order with payment obligation" or equivalent), you submit a binding order.
4.2 We confirm receipt by email. The contract is formed by our acceptance (separate email) or by commencement of service delivery. For packages with a 7-day free trial, contract conclusion occurs at the time of order; the trial period begins immediately.
4.3 Before completing your order, you will be informed clearly in the checkout of the package you are ordering, the applicable billing period, the price due after any free trial period, and when your first payment will be charged.
5. PRICES, TERMS, RENEWAL AND TERMINATION
5.1 Prices
All prices are final prices in EUR including applicable VAT.
Free: 0.00 EUR
Premium
- 1 month: 24.99 EUR/month
- 3 months (save 20%): 19.99 EUR/month
- 6 months (save 36%): 15.99 EUR/month
Premium+
- 1 month: 89.99 EUR/month
- 3 months (save 6%): 84.99 EUR/month
- 6 months (save 11%): 79.99 EUR/month
For multi-month billing periods (3 or 6 months), the total amount for the full period is charged in advance at the start of each billing cycle. The per-month rate shown is for reference only. Promotional or introductory prices are shown separately at checkout.
5.2 Free Trial Period (Premium only)
5.2.1 New users subscribing to the Premium package are entitled to a 7-day free trial period. The free trial begins at the time of contract conclusion and ends automatically after 7 days, at which point the first paid billing period commences and the applicable fee is charged.
5.2.2 No charge is made during the free trial period. You may cancel at any time during the free trial without incurring any cost (see Section 5.5).
5.2.3 The free trial is available once per user. Repeated registration to obtain further free trials is prohibited.
5.2.4 The Premium+ package and the Free package do not include a free trial. Premium+ access begins immediately upon contract conclusion and payment.
5.3 Billing Periods and Terms
5.3.1 Free: Unlimited, cancellable at any time.
5.3.2 Premium: No minimum contract term. Available with a billing period of 1 month, 3 months or 6 months as selected at checkout. After the free trial (where applicable), the subscription continues for the selected billing period and renews automatically.
5.3.3 Premium+: No minimum contract term. Billing period as selected at checkout (1, 3 or 6 months), cancellable at any time effective at the end of the current billing period.
5.4 Automatic Renewal
After the initial billing period, subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same duration. You will receive a reminder notice before renewal. You may cancel at any time effective at the end of the current period (see Section 5.5).
5.5 Termination
5.5.1 You may cancel your subscription at any time in text form via email to kontakt@senior-connect.de or via the account settings in the platform. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until that date.
5.5.2 During the free trial, cancellation takes effect immediately and no charge will be made.
5.5.3 We send electronic confirmation of cancellation including the effective termination date.
5.5.4 We may terminate the contract for good cause, in particular in the event of material breach of these Terms (e.g., misuse as set out in Section 9). In such cases, pro-rata reimbursement of prepaid fees may apply.
5.6 Payment
Payment is processed at the start of each billing period (or on the day after the free trial ends) by the payment method selected at checkout (e.g., SEPA direct debit, credit card, PayPal). In case of payment default, access may be temporarily suspended; statutory rights remain unaffected.
5.7 Price Changes
Price changes affect future billing periods only. We will provide notice at least 6 weeks before any price change takes effect. You have the right to terminate the contract extraordinarily as of the date the change takes effect if you do not accept the new pricing.
6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (CONSUMERS)
Withdrawal Policy
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date of contract conclusion (i.e., from the moment you complete the order, including any free trial).
To exercise your right, notify us (Senior Connect GmbH, Obereichenrot 8, 74575 Schrozberg, e-mail: kontakt@senior-connect.de) by means of an unambiguous declaration (e.g., email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form (Annex A), but it is not mandatory.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal, using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.
Free Trial and the Withdrawal Period
For Premium subscribers, the 7-day free trial runs concurrently with the 14-day withdrawal period. During the free trial, no payment has been made; withdrawal during this period results in cancellation with no financial obligation.
If you have not cancelled or withdrawn during the free trial and the first payment has been charged, you may still withdraw within the remaining withdrawal period (up to 14 days from contract conclusion). In that case, you are entitled to a refund of the payment made, less a proportionate amount for the paid service days received after the end of the free trial and before receipt of your withdrawal notice.
Start of Services Before Expiry of the Withdrawal Period
For paid digital services, we ask you at checkout to expressly agree that we may begin performance of the contract immediately, and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided within the withdrawal period. If you have requested performance during the withdrawal period and later withdraw, you must pay a reasonable amount for the services provided up to the point of withdrawal.
7. SCOPE OF SERVICES, FAIR USE AND BOOKING
7.1 AI Job Matching (DE): Based on your profile, preferences and aggregated market data. In the Free package, job matching is limited in scope and number of results. The relevance of individual results may vary.
7.2 CV and Application Document Optimisation: AI-assisted creation and optimisation of professional application documents. The Free package includes a partial analysis; Premium and Premium+ offer the full scope of services.
7.3 1:1 Career Consulting (Premium+ only): One session per month with an experienced career consultant, 45 minutes per session. Bookable via our calendar tool. Cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled session. Sessions not cancelled in time or not attended expire without entitlement to a replacement.
7.4 Unlimited AI Interview Training (Fair Use, Premium and Premium+): "Unlimited" means without a fixed session cap, but in line with typical individual usage patterns. Automated access, mass-concurrent sessions or systematic heavy load are prohibited. Sustained usage above the 95th percentile of all users may be temporarily restricted. In the Free package, interview training is limited in scope and number of sessions.
7.5 Career Guidance (AI): Available to Premium and Premium+ users in full. This does not constitute legal, tax, medical or financial advice. All decisions remain the sole responsibility of the user.
8. AVAILABILITY AND MAINTENANCE
8.1 We strive for high availability. Planned maintenance is carried out, where possible, outside peak hours and with advance notice; in urgent cases notice may be omitted.
8.2 Third-party services (e.g., video conferencing, hosting, AI providers) may cause temporary limitations outside our control.
9. USER OBLIGATIONS AND PROHIBITED USE
9.1 Use of the Service is permitted only in accordance with the contract and for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
9.2 The following are prohibited in particular: uploading unlawful content, circumventing security measures, automated scraping or harvesting of data, sharing or reselling paid access, repeated registration to obtain further free trials, and any use intended to circumvent access restrictions.
9.3 User Content: You grant us a simple, non-exclusive right to store, process and deliver your user content during the contract term for the purpose of providing the Service. You warrant that your content does not infringe third-party rights and indemnify us against any corresponding claims.
10. RIGHTS TO THE PLATFORM
10.1 All intellectual property rights to the Service, software, content and trademarks remain with Senior Connect or its licensors.
10.2 Reverse engineering, decompilation or modification is permitted only within the limits set by mandatory law.
11. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE AND THESE TERMS
11.1 We continuously develop and improve the Service. Neutral improvements or additions are permitted without prior notice.
11.2 If changes lead to more than minor disadvantages for you, we will provide at least 6 weeks' advance notice; you may then terminate the contract extraordinarily as of the date the change takes effect.
11.3 Changes to these Terms will be notified by email. If you do not object within 6 weeks and continue to use the Service, the changes are deemed accepted; this will be expressly noted in the notification. Significant changes grant a special right of termination.
12. STATUTORY WARRANTY FOR DIGITAL SERVICES (SS. 327 FF. BGB)
12.1 We provide the Service in conformity with the contract and maintain its functionality, including required security and feature updates.
12.2 In case of defects, your statutory rights apply (rectification, price reduction, termination, and damages as per Section 13).
13. LIABILITY
13.1 Unlimited liability applies for intent and gross negligence, for damages to life, body or health, and under mandatory law (e.g., the German Product Liability Act).
13.2 For slight negligence, Senior Connect is only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal duties), limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
13.3 These limitations also apply to Senior Connect's legal representatives, employees and agents.
14. DATA PROTECTION
Our Privacy Policy applies and is available on the website. It provides information on purposes, legal bases, recipients, storage periods and your rights as a data subject.
15. CONSUMER DISPUTE RESOLUTION
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Statutory rights remain unaffected. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
16. FINAL PROVISIONS
16.1 German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
16.2 Place of jurisdiction: statutory rules apply for claims against consumers; for claims against Senior Connect the place of jurisdiction is our registered office, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
16.3 If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force; statutory provisions apply in place of the invalid provision.
16.4 The contract language is German. In the event of any conflict between language versions, the German version prevails.
